Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in geology, engineering, or related science
10 years of applicable experience

Typical Job Duties

Independently evaluates and applies standard environmental techniques and procedures
Prepares field notes, Soil Log Forms, Monitoring Well Sampling Data Forms, and reports
Assignments include sampling and testing of materials, review, research, and reporting
May supervise or coordinate the work of technicians and other environmental scientists

Job Description

Plans and leads staff in performing environmental investigations which include data collection and modeling for site investigations.
Directs the design, development and application of cleanup technologies.
Develops Health and Safety plans and conducts lead-based paint risk assessments and asbestos abatement studies.
Develops technical scopes, plan schedules and cost estimates.
