Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental science
  • Registered Geologist/Hydrogeologist or equivalent
  • 5 years of applicable experience

Typical Job Duties

  • Assists in field and laboratory analysis of complex geological problems
  • Assists in preparation and review of geotechnical aspects of environmental investigations
  • Performs site investigations and plans reviews for new and existing land applications
  • Evaluates soil and groundwater monitoring systems at land applications
  • Investigates spills and other groundwater contamination problems

Job Description

  • Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard geologic/hydrogeological techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Independently performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected, and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on major projects.
  • Possesses solid organizational and documentation skills, attention to detail, sound scientific judgment, and well-developed client and communication skills.
