Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in geology, engineering, or related science
  • NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator License
  • 10 years of applicable experience

  • Screens assignments for unusual problems and selects procedures to be applied

Job Description

  • Designs and implements geophysical and geochemical surveys to characterize subsurface conditions.
  • Performs geophysical studies for landfill investigations, detecting buried drums and tanks, buried debris and unknown subsurface structures using gravity, magnetic and two-dimensional seismic profiling.
  • Evaluates subsurface conditions and proposes remedial actions, generates tank closure and remedial action reports, and oversees tank testing and new tank installations.
  • Interfaces with clients and regulatory officials to coordinate and direct UST closure and site assessment activities.
  • Directs and conducts investigations involving the construction of monitoring wells, installation of soil borings and well points, groundwater sampling, and laboratory analysis for hydrogeological and environmental characterization.
